Question Where should I launch from

iam in need of some info guys i want to go out of san diego this weekend
but ineed to know where the best ramp that has washdown and i can just sleep on the boat water or on the trailer can anyone give me some help

I don't know that any of the ramps have washdown. Campland in mission bay does but i think you have to be a member. I think all of the ramps have overnight parking(for vehicals with trailers only), I don't think that your allowed to sleep in the lot, but in a cuddy i don't think anyone will notice. Also some of the local marinas usually have transient docking, for like 20 bucks or somethin, if you wanted to stay on the water. you'de probably want to set that up ahead of time. I don't really know how you'de wash your boat off afterwards. good luck.

No wash downs that I know of in SD. Up here in OC we have wash down areas but we pay $$ to launch. I hear rumor that all the wash down facilities will be capped off soon, something about run-off polution. It's called the clean water act and you probably voted for it back in 96'.
