Ok... I need some input from you folks....
I want to hear your views on how you want the Moderators/Admin to handle Assholes on the board.
This last instance with Sinjinn is a good case... there was alot of History behind this nutsack...
I can handle these cases by either shutting down/managing the thread until I talk with the other admin/mods...then make a decsion
(as was done this time) Banned the little fuck.
Or just flat ban the fucker and nuke the posts
Or just leave him/her out there for you to beat the shit out of... and hope you all have the good sense to know how much is to much.
Ie: don't threaten to rape his mothers sisters grandaughter.. of having thier dog perform with his wife....
And as we all know.. flaming or fucking with another Fishing site/board is grounds to get your ass handed to ya after I fry your post.
Let me know.. cause I'm fucking tired of cleaning the shit out of the sandbox... and plan on gettin out on the pond now that there are a couple biting fish!

Think you just did a fine job of handling this last issue Stan. Most of us would not have known about his priors (the e-ms you received from other mods) but had some degree of satisfaction in calling the bluff of the arrogant fuck and his wannabe schills that chimed in his defense.
A lot of it depends on how much shit you want to deal with.
Low tolerance, dust their ass right off. High tolerance, let us fuck with the pricks first then dust their ass off.

Seems like a lot of that Sinjin BS was brought over from another board...and should have been left there. I'm sure I don't know the full story.
I say let the members handle Assholes.
I know there have been a few times when I've gotten out of line and my loving BD brothers were right there to set me on the straight and narrow.
Now, when it comes to physical threats, slander, libel etc., I think Admin needs to step up. JMO

i usually defrost in cold water. sometimes i will leave them in the refridgerator in a bowl overnight so they will thaw evenly.
and if that doesnt work, i just throw them the fuck OUT. :Rambo_Thr

You did what you had to do. Maybe in the future do it quicker. And hopefully Sinjin figures it out before there's nowhere else for him to go. This is now the 3rd board I know of he's had problems with. Pattern?

BLOODY DECKS!!!! The name says it all. Let the membership handle it.
Now - Libel, slander, threats, harassment, stalking, and other legal issues should be moderated out. Maybe give a two or three strikes for permanent ban. Locking up threads seems to work pretty well. Gives people the background but stops feeding the flames.
I'm not a lawyer so would need help what the difference between Libel, slander, threats and harassment. I think I understand stalking.
I think "Kiss my Ass" is safe.
I think "I'll Kick your Ass" is not very safe.
If you don't like what I'm suggesting - then FUCK YOU!! ( I think that is safe.)
