I don't think of it as a argument more of a discussion and some might learn something. Obviously not you but maybe others.

I must deduct a point from you now.

Yo; I attach a flouro leader to mono using the surgeons knot. Has never failed. I tried the uni-to-uni and it wastes a lot of leader and was difficult to tie because flouro is so fucking stiff. I've used Seagaur for ever. Good luck.

Ron (Tsuriya) was invisable for most of the trip........he tied that Seagaur knot as fast as anybody I've ever seen......and killed a shitload of fish as well.

I tied the same knot as well as the Double Surgeons.......fast , clean and mean..........10 lb above and your eating.
Aquachico is right on target.....as usual

Hey Ron,

How the heck you doin?

Jim

DaLurker-
in ZZZZZZ's question he's asking you was what size fish have you caught to support your arguement about uping one line size using mono-flouro?

your answer above states catching a Yellow Fin Tuna using a jig...

so my question to you is ---- you use flouro leader to skip a jig???

if so why would you need to do that??
never seen anyone do that before

I have got to agree with B-RADDDD on this one...
ZZZZZZ's has fished with F LoPreste, R Rose and D Choate... some of the premiere long range guys on the west coast!!!! If these guys say NOT to move up, then who am I to question... makes perfect sense for STEALTH!!!!

If it works, then let's kill fish with it...
