Cofe is local... I wouldn't deal with the guy in Escondido if I didn't have to, and I don't. Hawk isn't far away either. Why not point the business their way?
I just had a bad experience with Ken, so I wouldn't go that direction.

just a reccomendation :
larry coffen is a good guy , i believe he is retired and may be willing to fill the position , talks alot but very good with reels and defanitely solved the factory issuse's with my diawa sld30 II (2 speed ) when diawa couldn't
lives in the s.d. area , known by the name of "cofe"
goes by the name of "knobs" on another board , i have a phone ## if the idea sounds good p.m. me for the ### if interested
just an idea or my .02 cents worth

Joe Smith is the perfect man for the Job. A #1 TOP Merchanic for Accurate Couple years ago, he literaly can build the Platinmun TwinDrag by himself; and also known as AWESOME ROD wrapper!!! I don't want any one else but him to touch my rod!!
He can finish my rod in only 2 days with (Diamond plus Cheveron wrap), and build the new 2spd reel for accurate in 1 days, by himself alone.
He lives in Pomona, he still works for accurate for consoltant only, and Melton's and Turner's want him so bad, but they are too cheap to affort him. If you want, shoot me a PM, I will forward his contact info.
