Bad Service!!!!!

I just can't stand it anymore. I've been back in forth the last 24 hours on whether or not to tell this story to all of the great guys here on the board.. Well I fished yesterday and lauched out of At Dana over at mission bay. After fishing we decided to go look at the Parkers boats that are located just next door.. We parked my 40,000 dollar boat and nice Suv in front and walked on to the outside lot.. There were several employees lingering around but they all seemed busy doing other things(no problem). My buddy was checking out the center cousel and I am interested in the pilot house so i was on there checking the deck space out.. All of a sudden I heard someone yell out" You better not be scuffing my deck" "oh it problably to late now". My buddy climbed of the boat right away. Then when he saw me climb off the other boat he yelled at me.. "Oh great now I probably have boot marks all over my boat now also" You have to understand this guy was a A. Hole!! I told him that I'm a customer and That I'm looking for a boat..YOU WONT BELIEVE his response"These boats will all be sold the first day of Fred Halls anyway" I was so mad i found an employee out back to ask what his co workers problem was.. Well I learned he was the OWNER.. I dont know his name and I dont care to .. Late 30's shaved head, and a jerk!!!!
Guess I'm going to La if and when I buy my Parker.. Derek

Dude that sucks......make sure you don't go back to that dealer when buying your next boat! That one hell of a way to get customers.

That's Crazy!

I purchased my Parker in Ontario. The service was great....

Johnson Marine...ask for Ron or Jared. Good luck.

Some of the attitude in the fishing community can be a bit much at times...it's really too bad!

Funny you mention it, got the same type of attitude from someone at that place during the tuna, tails and toads tourney. I was looking at the 27 or 29 I can not remeber, At the time I was seriously looking to buy a new boat. Was trying to ask questions regarding the boat and price and the individual I was dealing with did not think i was to important. He kept talking to his buddy and kinda acted like I wasn't there. So I said thank you left and bought the 30' proline the next day. Oh well there loss. Sounds like they lost two boat sales.

Email that A Hole a link to this thread. I get sooo much satisfaction out of watching such people sink, rather then swim, when they act like that to people.

Get a clue, the world can communicate better then ever now (ie; BD forums). And I think they just screwed up a little.

Contact Parker

Without a doubt, follow the advice and contact the manufacturer!!! I met the GM from the manufacturing plant in NC and he told me that are really struggling with the SD market, that is why they were out here for the boat show earlier in the year...This type of feedback will open their eyes, especially on a boat that I personally own and is so popular here in SD..
They need that feedback dude...Make the call

That probably wouldn't be a good idea.

If yellowklr has a problem with the guy, let him work it out with Parker. Tagging derogotory links to this site will do nothing but cause potential problems for BD.

Hey, it's the Parker dealer's business! If he wants to be an asshole and chase away future customers, so be it. What goes around comes around. No use bringing BD into the fray.

I understand what you're saying, though.
