If that's the one by the Queen Mary I hate it. It's to steep and there are only 4 lanes to launch on. Went there once and never went back.....I always use Davies.

its a launch ramp. cost 10 bucks. theres four lanes i think. theres a bathroom and a little grassy area. takes about 7-8 min to get out of the 5mph zone into the main harbor
not sure what you're lookin for here. i like it better than davies

As of yesterday it's 12 bucks to launch.
It's the best ramp (non-summertime weekend) if you are fishing PV, the Shoe or HB.
It's got plenty of launch room, lots of parking and the shortest no wake zone of any ramp.
Watch out on super low tides though.
Yesterday it was an uber-minus tide when we launched and as I backed off the trailer I fouled the prop twice with Hydrilla or whatever kind of bottom grass they grow around here. When I say "fouled", I mean a basketball size clump of weeds around my prop that I had to pull off with my gaff...
Also, the trailer on my 18 foot boat came off the end of the ramp. It wasn't a problem dropping the boat, but that could be a problem for someone trying to pull a boat out at an extreme low tide with a 2 wheel drive truck.

Even more amazing, I actually ran aground (well, I buried my lower unit anyway) about half way out of the channel (just before the entrance for Rainbow Harbor)...
That was some crazy shit! I had to tilt my motor way up just to get back to the deeper channel without burying it...

That being said, it's my go to ramp.

Well, some like it some don't. Short no wake and close to fishing sounds good but shallow water and steep ramps don't.

Guess I will go and check it out for myself, Thanks

Cabrillo Lauch ramp is pretty good! Decent dock to tie to and you can do it for free if you lauch within 20 mins. Only 19.6 miles to Catalina too!
