Reminder...

10 more days.

Remember that your early entries must be received or postmarked by November 18th. Entries postmarked after that date will be at the late entry price.

Another thing that I forgot to mention, is that you can add anglers to your team at the original early entry price if you do get your entries in before the entry fee goes up. So if you enter early and wish to add more anglers to your team, you may do so at the early entry price.

Get your teams together and get those entries in.

One other thing which I will post about later, is that Dana Landing will be putting together a product display & seminar event to coincide with the event. This will most likely become a permanent part of the tournament as they both compliment each other nicely.... a good day of tournament fishing followed by the weigh-in, along with a great product display & seminar event to go along with the tournament.

Dana Landing will also be supplying their awesome new BBQ & food to feed the masses at this event........ and lets not forget the Benefit Raffle which will take place after the weigh-in, in which all teams receive a free raffle ticket (additional tickets may be purchased prior to the drawing).... one of the prizes will be a custom 42 gallon bait tank donated by Defiance Boats who is once again the premier sponsor of this years event.

REMINDER.....

19 days until tournament time!!

9 more days to get those early entries in before the entry fee goes up.

Also, don't forget about the NEW "GUESS THE WEIGHT" contest which is open to everybody, regardless if you fish in the tournament or not.

All it takes is one $5.00 guess to possibly win a a lot of dough!! Just in case you are not aware of the "GUESS THE WEIGHT" portion of the tournament, it works like this.

Download your "GUESS THE WEIGHT" entry form from the tournament website and place your guess for the combined weight of the first place halibut of the tournament as well as the next largest halibut caught from a DIFFERENT team.

Whoever has the closest guess without going over wins the money set aside for this jackpot! Pretty simple and yet it adds a whole new element to watching the weigh-ins, because regardless of whether you were in the tournament and you didn't get any halibut, or you are just a non participating angler, you still have a shot at walking away with some good money!!

More info on "GUESS THE WEIGHT" right here http://www.bloodydecks.com/forums/fi...ss-weight.html (Guess The Weight!!!!)

If anyone needs an extra angler, let me know. Missed the money last year by a couple ounces! If Rob didn't sponsor such a nice tourney, I might've been upset with him beating me..

Daniel, I would really like to see you in this again this year.... you did come extremely close to being in the money last year.

I will try and start another thread looking for both anglers looking for a boat as well as boat owners looking for anglers for the tournament. We usually have a few of both, so maybe we can come up with something.
