Taking the Vets fishing is a great cause, I hope this can be resolved so that others don't shy away from participating in future events...

This was a month ago. I would love to have the jacket, but like everyone else, the prizes are not what we do this for....but it is very frustrating to be BS'ed.
I even offered to pay to have it shipped to me.

I did get a PM response from Jesse last night. He does have a lot on his mind and some challenges. With that said... I volunteered (again) to drive to where the prizes are and take over the distribution responsibilities. My prize (the great trip) expires in December. If anybody can arrange a meeting with Jesse, we can load up my truck and go for a ride or I'll go solo if need be.

Maybe a quick WTH message is in order. I also will show up bright and early for any other trip for these terrific young soldiers.

Trust me, the troops are still and good standing and are welcome on my boat anytime. Quote:

The boat is in Valencia in my loading dock. There are no prizes in the boat, with the exception of two Avet t-shirts. Everything else was unloaded at Jesses' house.
I personally helped unload it all out of my truck.

Here I go getting all riled up again. I don't drink... I'll be thinking about what to do while fishing. Seriously... anyone want to have a heart to heart with him and see if we can get this worked out? Let's just get it all out in the open and go from there. If the prizes are at his house, give me an address and I'll be there today. I think my next step will be to inform my 5'2" inch Mexican wife that we are not going on the trip. Three calls and she will know where he lives and give him a nagging that will make any soldier beg for mercy. Thinking happy thoughts, thinking happy thoughts.... Quote:
