Seahorse Dana Point

Baby boy is heading out tonight to SCI for an overnight. Anybody going or any opinions on this boat? Also looking for tackle tips.

30lb & 40lb, yellows and seabass, dropper loop for these fish has still been working well with live squid as bait. During the afternoon 30lb flouro with a 3/4oz sliding sinker.
Decent boat, good crew, Tyler fishes hard for exotic's.

You and me both, got to feed the monkey. Been a very good SCI bite this late spring early summer, I wish I had more time. Maybe you'll get to eat some fish though.

I set out a cooler for him to take. Hopefully we have a nice dinner out of the deal.
Great kid works his arse off and I'm glad he's spending his money on something productive like fishing.

Sounds like the right time. If you go his name is David. Big kid spikey hair. Talks low.
Course that describes ten thousand kids.

Well he's off to have a great trip. Has his Bloodydecks shirt on and his favorite hat.
8' jig stick with 30#, 7' medium action with 30# and a 7' light action with 20# just for fun.

I just had a flashback of my pop dropping my brother and I off in Santa Barbara back in the late 60's. F'n work or I'd be with him. Should be a good growing up experience for him though. Yellows and WSB for dinner if he's lucky.

He'll need the 20# for bassin'. Surface iron and flylined bait were working a week and a half ago when I was out there on the Sea Horse. The Yellowtail were little guys of 8-10#.
