Warm water Cold water break

My friend told me the albacore are outside a band of warm water hugging the coast and where they are. Below the albacore the water is cold and the Yellow Fin Tuna etc... are way down there and will not move up until the cold water leaves. Look at the fish counts at the landings and all the long boat rides for nada. La Nina cold water.

Your wrong amigo La NINA.

If we were in El Nino everyone would be catching fish right now.

The reports are accurate. they may not get within 1 days range this year.

Do a little research.

El Nino doesn't necessarily mean an EARLIER season, it can also mean warmer water and a LONGER season.

I remember roping 35# Yellow Fin Tuna 7 or so years ago on Turkey Day.

The experts are still calling this an El Nino.

Seems strange for sure.

Just a slow start to a season. Let's hope we have a long one.
