Longest Lasting Tow Vehicle Tires ?

Time to change the tires on my tow vehicle , a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Megacab 4x4 turbodiesel . What do you all think is the longest lasting tire ? I do not go off road to much , mostly highway driving and towing my 23 foot skiff . Thanks .

I've got Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos on my Z-71 and I love them.
They have an aggressive tread which is great on the ramp and are quiet on the highway.
There has been some discussion about their longevity on some off-road boards, but I don't do a whole lot of off-road driving, so I have no complaints.
They're a little on the expensive side, but in my opinion a great tire.
I had the Bridgestone Duelers on my old Z-71 and I put over 80K miles on them and sold the truck before they wore out...

Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo

The Dueler A/T Revo are a very good tire. Ran those on my last two trucks and liked them a lot. I am currently running Pro Comp A/T tires and really like them as well. They have almost 50,000 on them, and there is a lot of tread left.

I have the 10 ply BF Goodrich Rugged Trail TA's in 265/75 R16 on my Ford Excursion. I paid 1K for them with mounting and lifetime warranty from Discount. They are an excellent tire. I hate hearing road noise from my tires and with these I hear nothing. When the ramp is slippery or wet, these tires have no problem with traction when it comes to pulling my Parker up the ramp. I highly recommend them.

Goodyear Wrangler Pro, Kevlar side walls, 50k mile warranty and a 30 day trial offer, these are great tires for towing heavy loads and have plenty of grab at the ramp. Not cheap but worth the cost.

How long ago did you make this purchase? I bought the exact same tires for my Suburban 4x4 at Costco in 2007 and paid $732 for the set. I get about 40,000 to 50,000 miles out of these tires.

Thanks for the replys . I had a pair of Revo's on my old Tahoe that I traded in for my truck. I really liked them , but I only had them for about 10,000 miles . Highway quietness and longevity are the main factors for me . Ofcourse something that grips a slippery ramp on low tide is a plus . I am leaning toward the Revo . Not sure yet . Thanks again for the replys everyone .

bfg from costco here as well, also if you dont require an agressive tread ive been having very good luck with bfg commercial t/a's on my work trucks(60k and still have tread left on those)i average 70-80k on the bfg's if you keep them inflated right.

In about 2,000 miles, my MICHELIN LTX® M/S tires will have 180,000 miles on them.

I put Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts on my 4x4 diesel Excursion but not the revos (size 305x70x16). I wanted E-rated tires and the Revos were not, at least in that size. The ones I got have a less aggressive tread but still good offroading and quiet on the road. I've used Bridgestone Duelers on my trucks for years and have NEVER had a single flat or blowout. Before that I ran BFG A/Ts and was patching flats on a regular basis on my Baja trips.
