Need Help Please I need a Diesel mechanic

Any BDer's out there know of a good diesel auto mechanic somewhere between Torrance and Santa Monica. I have a 06' GMC 2500 with a Duramax. It's been trouble free, but I just need some basic maintenance items done and my regular mechanic doesn't touch diesels.

I was just referred to a MDR based diesel mechanic by a friend and used him this past weekend. Formerly he was so busy he didn't want referrals, but he says jobs have just collapsed as folks have cut back. He is a Brit who went through apprentice school in England and worked for trucking and heavy equipment firms. He is a first rate trouble shooter and can work on all makes of diesels as well as gassers. He has kept my friend going beyond where he thought he would be now with his VP KAD 43. He just fixed an oil leak and some misc preventitive maintenance items on my VP AD41P.
