Camp Pendalton San Onfre Cottage... Any Fish?

A buddy of mine rented a beach cottage in Camp Pendalton's San Onofre beach. Is there any fishing there? Surf Fishing or Jetties? What rigs are recommended? Will report if I take my rod.

The twin titties have a nice man made reef there that holds some nice fish, if you go on youtube there is a video about the artificial reef there and some killer black seabass and wsb that hover around there from time to time as well as some yellowtails. Dont know about now but its worth a check.

After a late night drinking session, and a pounding headache in the morning, I managed to fish for about an hour. I saw some other people fishing near the boobs, but there were too many surfers in that area so I went up north a bit. Tossed around some swimbaits for about an hour. NOTHING!!! I think I need to work on my technique and get some lighter gear. Thanks for all the advice!!!
