Anyone got an extra VHF laying around?

I bought a used one and it doesn't work right. Only recieves, I might have messed it up testing it out with out an antenna. Looks like I need another one. Wife just bought me an antenna, might as well look for one. Doesn't hurt to ask, so if someone has an older one they don't want, I'd be happy to pay ya for it.

That sucks, i have an icom that i have been saving as a backup, but not quite sure i want to part with it yet. Try ebay,,,plenty of them when i was lookin several months ago. By the way you never want to key your mike when the antenae is disconected, also if your mike is a screw in type may be a bad mike. Just my .02 cents. Good luck!

What kind, model, age, etc? It may be worth taking in to be repaired. They are not expensive, may be better to buy new as it will save your ass. My .02

Its was OLD! West Marine model, paid next to nothing for it, so I'll just junk it. Just thought I'd put it out there and see if anyone had something they're willing to part with.

i got pretty good one that i don't use. it's either a raymarine, or a ray jeff. as i remember it worked pretty good. you're welcome to it if you want.
