Hayabusa Circle Hooks?

This weekend I tried these hooks and had 4 pull out of Albies. I have fished circle hooks for at least 5 years and never lost a hooked fish. Anyone else have this problem? Let me know Bobup

I'll use Owner or Hayabusa circles on larger Tunas but not Albacores. After trying just about every known hook out there, I've come back to the good old Mustad 94150s. Not just because I'm a cheap azz, because I think they are about the best Albacore hook there is. Really, no sh!t.

Owner. Ringed circles for just about everything. Once I hit light line (under 12lb) I go to light wire circles. The red Octopus hooks are great with 6lb test. I do have a Plano 3700 full of Mustad's if I feel the need to go ghetto.

Hooks are a small price to pay for a trip. I fished a 8-day on little more than a couple Pro packs. That's less than $20 each. 1-day out of Dana and that's less than a Big Kahuna burger and a drink.

I'm not buying Hayabusa hooks cause I can't find Pro Pacs .

There Hooks are alright . I just had a problem getting Quantities . If you notice the sizing is different than most .

I fish with Owners . Circles to Ringed Bait hooks . That's my choice . I haven't had a problem with them . I usually By my stock at the Fred Hall show and pay penny's for a piece of mind .
Like the man said , I've got a whole box of Mustads for guests and backup , if needed .

Some fish , the way they bite , you're better off using a straight bait hook .

We had problems this weekend with Owners Circles coming out on Albies as well . The fish just bite wierd some days .........
