Need gear / tackle advice on twilight fishing

Tuna fisherman here, never been on a twilight trip, going tonight, counts as of late have been good, all sculpin, I have a few penn tuna sticks, onw with 30lb mono/ 20lb floro leader. Should I take that or lighter line, I know it sounds like a dumb Q but I have no lighter rigs except some coffe grinders with 10-15lb mono. Advice? Going outta Davey's Locker.

A coffee can grinder with #15 can work well for you on the twilite boat. Just get a few rubber core sinkers 1/4 to 3/4 ounce and you be good to go. Be careful on the Skulpin they can be very pain full if you get spiked. Don't ask how I know this!

I hear that, been on my share of 3/4 day charers and cattle boats, caught a few before, saw deckhand get stuck by my bro's catch, looked like it hurt judging from his face after a while. It's been a long time, what size / style hooks?

Take some 4 oz thru 8 oz sinkers for dropper loop fishing.
You should be fine with 30lb mono/ 20lb floro leader sculpin are not line shy.

Hooks? Also when and how do I get on a squid trip? Sounds fun.
