Best 1 day fishing options for Dana Point - July 5-9

I am a No-Cal fisherman, but I will be camping at Dana Point/Doheny Beach on July 5-9 with my Brother in law and nephew and want to do some fishing. I'd love to catch WSB, Yellowtail, Halibut if possible, but it seems like it may be the wrong time of year. As a backup we can go hammer some Calicos, etc somewhere. Any help on good party boats or shared charters for that timeframe? Whats going on out at Catalina right now?
Thanks in advance.

If you are looking to charter a boat, then just go to Dana Wharf and get on the Sea Horse. Captain Tyler usually runs overnight trips to San Clemente Island for $100. They are absolutely whacking the Yellowtail and Calico Bass right now with an occasional WSB. Will the Thrill again? Thanks for the info. I assume you know your stuff. Nice to have good local info. Do you think I'd be wise to book that trip ahead of time though?

definitely book with Tyler and Todd on Sea Horse. Tyler runs a top notch operation!
