Our report is compiled from the catches of our fleet.
We’ll update the report every Monday.

ANOTHER BIG WEEK FOR BLUE MARLIN !!!!!

With the tropical weather staying clear of the peninsula our fleet is
able to reach the fishing grounds without a problem. Although few
boats are clearing the inlet each morning the catch rate continues
to impress.

On September 2nd. our boat of the day was our great 35’ Cabo Flybridge “Picante Dream” with Captain Pablo “Palin” Cesena at the helm and first mate Daniel working the cockpit. Mr. Jansen and his friends had another one of those world class Cabo fishing days releasing a Blue Marlin, a Striped Marlin, and a Pacific Sailfish along with boating 3 Yellowfin Tuna which were cooked up at a local restaurant.

September 4th. proved productive for Mr. Battle and his Family fishing aboard our fast 35’ Cabo Express “Cisco” with Captain Jose “Mocho” Nunez at the controls and deckhand Ricardo working the cockpit. They were kept busy releasing a Striped Marlin and boating 2 Dorado and 2 Yellowfin Tuna.

September 5th. again showed that the Blue Marlin bite is proving to be the best in years with our friend Tom Crum and his friends from Texas spending the day on “Cisco” with the crew of “Mocho” and deckhand Ricardo working the action end of the team. A world class day was had by the boys from Texas releasing a 300 + lb. Blue Marlin, 2 Striped Marlin and 1 Pacific Sailfish. Now that’s a day they won’t soon forget.

TOTAL FLEET PRODUCTION

•	3 BLUE MARLIN
•	6 STRIPED MARLIN
•	4 PACIFIC SAILFISH
•	15 DORADO
•	14 YELLOWFIN TUNA

It’s time to pick up that phone or click that mouse and book

We are proud to announce the New Community Website for Bahia Asuncion, Baja California Sur. It has been such a privilege assisting the community in putting this together. It has been a new experience for all of us.

It is far from complete and does suffer from some glitches---some our fault and some glitches with the hosting company, but with fishing season beginning, we all wanted to share it now.

The goal is to provide equal information for all the services in Bahia Asuncion ---all the licensed fishing guides, all the eateries, etc. and basic information about many other services.

Please check it out and everyone involved hopes to see you all fishing in Bahia Asuncion. Right now lots of halibut from shore and the yellowtail have arrived.

www.bahiaasuncion.org.

Thank you and hope to see you when you are in Bahia Asuncion

In the boat theft that happened two weeks ago, Mexican skipper Javier Cota had his super-panga Alexia stolen from its mooring. While it's tough for everyone who lost their boat, it's especially tough for a guy who made his living with his boat. Anyway, he's been my skipper for years and I decided to help him by making a website for him.

You can see it here:
East Cape Fishing Guides and Charters

Hopefully, it'll bring him more business. I figure that if he has business he can rent or borrow a boat to use with clients.

If you have a blog or website, please link to him...it'll help for sure.

Thanks,

We are planning to leave late October for an 8-day trip, and need a deckhand. Our plan B is to head to Cedros (or maybe further south, but we are trying to minimize travel time). We need someone that enjoys helping with everything -- driving the boat, galley duty, cleaning the boat, dealing with the cockpit and tackle, cleaning fish (hopefully), etc. Experience at Guadalupe is a major plus (none of us have fished it), and Cedros experience is good too (but less important). There will be some opportunity to fish, but this is a paid position and we need a real deckhand. For the most part, we want to relax and have someone else do the stuff we don't want to do, but (at least as compared to a commercial long range trip) we will all be working hard. The ideal would probably be a long range deck hand. Any referals would be appreciated.

Also, it looks like we have one buddy boat, but more are welcome. Please PM me if interested.
