Just a reminder to everyone, get those early entrys in soon as the entry fee goes up to $60 per angler after November 14th. There are 11 more days to get those early entrys in.
Depending on entrys and jackpots entered the payout could be pretty healthy this year.
I get the question asked often of "Where have the winning fish been caught?" Well after 7 years of this tourney the fish have been spread out all over. We have had winning fish from carlsbad, torrey pines, mission beach and even mission bay to name a few plus a few oddball fish in numerous tourneys with a 40lb yellowtail landed by Bder "Byeye" as well as a large angleshark taken by Team "FishWiz a few years back, and also a 20lb Salmon taken off of MB about 6 years ago plus a few BSB (released).
The point is the winning fish could be anywhere and taken by any method, you just need to hope your bait happens across the right fish!
ANY teams wanting in can PM me with their full name & address and I will get an invite sent out to you. Its very hard for me to know how close we are to filling this thing up untill the entrys start comming in, so at this point I am still taking those who wish in and when it hits the max of about 75 boats that will be it, but if that number possibly goes higher this year (due to again not knowing how many will actually enter) then all those teams entered will be automatically be included and on the invite list for the following year.
