I just finished reading all your post and i am really touched by your support. They addmited Angie last night because she had too many things going on at once, a fever of 101.1, blurred vision, sevre headaches and adominal and lower back (kidney area) pain. I will give you the numbers: red cells 7.2, platlets 21,000, white cells 2.1, she is now nuetropenic, forgive the spelling, which means that she is suseptable to any little bug that comes in contact with. It's now a waiting game, but God has been good to us, it's been a long haul and I don't see Him kicking us to the curb just yet. Angie is sorry that she could'nt make it, you'll just have to settle with me and my lovley daughter Arlene. I hope I get to meet and greet as many of you as I can, from the bottom of my heart I thank you all, may God bless you and keep you safe. Jo Jo.

Further update from Gus:

The hospital is doing more blood transfusions on Angie and the concern right now is that she has a kidney infection. They are considering going straight to a bone marrow transplant instead of waiting a little longer like they had hoped to do giving her time to gain her strength. The current course of treatment may not be working. We really need as many people to show up today as possible.

Thanks

Hey all.....

Just putting out a BIG thanks to all who organized this event as well as all those who donated things for the bleeders.

I just got back from bleeding and opened my goodie bag....... WOW you guys truly rock!!! Here is my thanks to these sponsors who gave product to this kickass event.

My thanks goes out to......

Bloodydecks - For allowing the forum to orchestrate these things, not to mention the really bad ass t-shirts that BD supplied!!

Catalina Offshore products (Tommy) - For supplying t-shirts and gift certificates.... I received both in my bag..... very cool... thanks!!

Seaforth - For supplying the beanies - I received one of these in my bag as well. Gracious!

Papa J - For supplying the blood drive with lures..... I also received one of these as well.... thanks again!!

Friends of Rollo - For supplying a free raffle ticket for the friends of Rollo drawing in which the winner will receive a F-150 truck & a new Davis Boat. Thank you!

And lastly, Dana Landing for allowing the use of the immediate area and serving up some killer burgers & hot dogs!! Thanks Steve, Johnny and the Dana Landing crew!!
