At least with the Bimini it is only in the way when you really need it.
Not to be negative or piss on anyone's campfire, but I was thinking the same thing. If you had more room, the h/T sounds great. But with a 19 ft W/A, it would tie up alot of room. Or it would be too small to do any good. And it costs alot of gas money...

The arch sounds like the ticket if it was collapsable. How about an arch with a bimini frame incorporated?

An aluminum ring on top of a T-Top for a spotter to stand in so he doesn't break his ass.

Re: Hard Top Vs. Radar Arch

Height limit is 14' A semi trucks trl is 13'6" My furuno dome is 13'6" on my Sea Ray.My bimini fits just under my arch. Its high enough that I can stand under it while driving the boat. And im 6' 6" tall.Hard tops are nice, But you do want to take into account of how much weight you have up high.Doesnt take much extra weight up high,To get you rockin with the wind and swell while your drifting.

Re: Hard Top Vs. Radar Arch

I have decided to go with a radar arch that can fold down.It seems to be the best solution for my problems at the current time.I will have it installed before next summer.Once i get enough money
