Looks like my old Furuno 1621 Radar took a dump
. It's fixable but most repair shops and even furuno says its probably more cost effective to replace the unit given the age of the unit.Anyways, whats the skinny on a replacement unit. Should I stick with Furuno or go to Raytheon? Would prefer something that will utilize my exsisting antenna mount and display mount.Don't need anymore holes in the boat.Not ready or willing to go with a combo unit. Already have separate depth sounder,GPS,Sea temp blah,blah,blah.Its going on a 25' skippy pilothouse.
You guys have always given me and others good advice and I could use a little right now.
