So i am buying a 17 foot aquasport and i want to put a depth sounder on it. Would prefer a transom mount and it to read fathoms, and what ever you guys recommend. This is my first boat. I appreciate all help and suggestions
thanks you someone replied i was starting to lose faith of any help... but i think anywhere from 100-350. Nothing to fancy just a transom mount quick set up and thats it just need to be able to read depths up to 50 fathoms.
For the price range you can get one that reads temp, speed, and depth 50/200hz.
If looking for just depth there are lower cost in hull transducers that are really simple to install. Just make sure they are compatible with your fish finder.
