Engine shuts off on low idle and missfires...

About a month ago my 2007 mercury 4 stk 115 hp efi started shutting off in low idle and missfiring but runs fine in high idle.It is getting worst and I called olympic boat center for warranty repair but cannot do it coz they filed bankruptcy and shutting down.they told me to bring it to hipp marine.Have you had any problem like this before? My engine is 1 year old and about 310 hours. The starter was replaced twice for short in solenoid and now it works well. Now different problems. Thanks for the responds.....

Hello Ramil,
Yeah the same thing started happening on our 135 optimax about the same amount of hours. It ended up being the spark plug leads. Once replaced the engine was back to normal

Hey Ramil, take it to Hipp Marine. See Robert the service manager. He's really good people and always treats me very well. They do good work there. I bought my Sea Pro there and they are the only folks I let work on it. Jon is one of their head mechanics and does great work. Dave

Problem solved and did it myself!Yesterday I found out that my engine was getting a salt water inside everytime I use it in the water. My spark plug wires were getting soaked and wet so I cleaned them , dry em up,put some electrical tape around them on the gap between top and bottom engine cover.I also used fuel treatment bought at west marine for $25.Today I went to Coronados,425,371 and back to Coronados.I could feel more power and fuel efficiency.
