I have had one for about 6 months now and it's well worth the money. They now have a website to share your tracks. Really great when your taking out a bunch a guys whose wives are worried that they aren't coming back.

They seem like a must have. I wanted to win one in the BDYTSO raffle so bad but didn't. Suppose I'm gonna go buy one now.

I'm a little concerned as we were out last Sunday and I hit the ok button a few times so I could track our positions at the 302 on google. When I came home and looked up the lat/lon positions, they were not accurate. It would be kind of scary resting all your hopes while floating in the big sae with the wrong position being transmitted. I plan on cotacting the Spot people and seeing whats up. It may be the map I was charting against wasn't accurate.

Just picked one up @ West Marine. I tried it out in my front yard, got the notification and the link to Google Earth, it was dead on.

I just ordered mine from REI (I had some gift cards I wanted to use up) - $171.56 (inc. tax & shipping). If you take delivery at the store, subtract $10. So $130 OTD sounds like a good price.
