Im using it for shark fishing. Im targeting threashers but there are several other species in the area. Normally I use berkley big game mono but im going to be kyaking it out from the beach so I need the extra distance braid allows.

I've only used pp and have absolutely no problem except the occasional wind knot.

I use PP for all light tackle use and Ande Monster yellow for offshore trolling and shark. With Makos and Threshers it is nice to have some stretch. The braid is good for setting the hook, but not forgiving.

We stung 40+ SBFT's last year and it was all done on Power Pro 80 & 100. We expect the fish to be bigger this year so my setup now consists of: 30Wides - spool filled with 100# PP with 100 yd 80# Momoi Diamond topshot; 50Wides - Spool filled with 200# PP with 100 yd 130# Momoi Diamond topshot. We bimini the PP and bimini the mono and use a loop to loop connection. We caught fish to 150 lbs with no problems.
