Alan,

Fished the 20 with 50lb and it does not handle well...After a few times the gears had slop in them...

Trinidad handles are well worth the money, period

Re: daiwa sealine-x 30 shv rebuild

I just finished this fix (Penn 440 washers) on an SL30SH: what a pleasure to work on! Even easier to put back together than a jigmaster (much better design with clutch and dog). Will try out the drag tomorrow with weights to get a sense of where it's at, but it was pretty smooth with felt--now it's just plain slick.

Alan, I'd have figured it out by myself but not the fricking burr. I'd still be looking for a non-existent pin to push out to get the drag off... thanks as always.

Re: daiwa sealine-x 30 shv rebuild

What is everyone using for Grandwave drag washer replacements? I have a 20 SHV and need to tear it down. I think my washers are finally toast.

Thanks.

should be the same. here's a list of all of the dimensions for all of the penn drag washers. you can measure yours and match them up with something on the list.

Hello Alan, Thanks for the dedication.

Iīve got a doubt, why did you put grease on the drag washers?
does it generate an impairment on the dragīs performance?

Thanks!

PS. Sorry but my english isnīt good at all...
