Is Fishing and Catching the same??????

1st week of Febuary
Pro Team of Pat Ford with John, Rick, Rufus, Chris,
Hunter, Mark, Charles from South Florida suffering so
much at PSFL, had an unusual slow week fishing in Panama,
I guess sometimes fishing is a dirty word in Panama, when "Catching" is the choice, 50 plus lb. Rooster on an OTI Wombat by Hunter, Rick with his 50+ lb. Cubera Snapper, lots of Pacific Sailfish, YFTs and a 90+ lb AJ, not bad fishing but certainly not the best, enjoy the pics.

Panama Sport Fishing Lodge

"Pat summary of fishing for the week"
Col Ledbetter warmed up for his upcoming year in Afghanistan by catching all the best fish of the trip....a black close to 600 lbs, a big rooster and cubera on plugs.* Rufus caught the only fish of the trip on fly - a jack.* There is little reason to bring a fly rod to Panama.* Over all the fishing was about as bad as it gets down there - green water was the culprit, I think.* All their fishing starts with catching bonito for bait* and they were pretty scarce the first 4 days.* The photography was very disappointing.....clouds, far away jumps and back-lit marlin didn't leave me much.* * We did catch 6 marlin in the last two days and generally had a good time.
