| Nice black marlin spending 6 gallons of fuel? It can be done in Pedasi
Hi I had nice reports from my friend and captain Nego Garcia that there were some weird marlin bites from people not even going after them, one of those bites was while jigging for medium size Yellow Fin Tuna, I decided to go have a try since last year there was an amazing bite of small to medium size black and blue marlin right by this time of the year (October and November).
We just trolled half an hour in Pargo Grande area when the devil in a black dress took one of our offerings, a wahoo king bullet shaped lure in blue and white, after some amazing aerial display this guy sounded for over two hours with 30 pounds of drag, after almost three hours of hard fighting unfortunately she came up dead, we estimated her at around 400 lbs and at least brought some marlin steaks to friends and family, most of it was given to people in Pedasi town, all of this with just one fill of gas, about 6 gallons, how about it!!
Here are some pics: |

Nice fish, too bad she died. But there were some great meals to be had, so not all was wasted.

"The Roving Angler" | Weather that particular day was ideal, no rain, light SW wind, no swell.
I was using Star rod 30-80 lb, Avet 30W 2 speed and Sufix Ultra Supreme 80 lb line, lure was blue and white Wahoo King, see you in December, Manuel. |

Lucky you being in France. The French are lovely people - all that fantastic wine and quality food.
