He tried to beat the shit out of me with his tail and knocked it off. I didn't realize how dorky the photos would look with only one shoe on till I saw them .

I will be trying to get to Johns Lodge in January is schedule and funds allow.
Smith Baby Runboh: Anything that can call a 120 lber from deep so hard it beats 50 Dorado to get it first is out of control teh sex. I have never seen the equivalent in my life.

Check out that chart of Ladrones man, that's 20 miles of reefs and pinnacles. We did not see a single boat fishing it all week. If you want an all tackle World Record Cubera, that is where one lives. I hooked 3 there on a Shimano Tiagra 30w and a XXheavy trolling boat rod and couldn't stop them from rocking me....

Think far less developed than PV without one single marina for sportfishers whatsoever. But clearly both fisheries have their advantages and disadvantages.

The "busy" Port of Boca Chica:

The marina:

Main Anchorage for Cruising Yachts:

Josh Temple said he was gonna try and spend 4-6 months there next year. Yup, its so good the PV Captains take vacation there (I think Juan Moll did) and want to work there in their off season.

Contact me if you are intrested in fishing with Capt."Hollywood"Macho or Capt.Sergio.
Again,Very nice report and Glad you got to fish with the "Best" in Panama!
O yea, I've been following all the reports for awhile and remember yours from earlier in the year. Sadly it is doubtful that I will have time off again for awhile but I will keep in touch and hope for the best.

By the way, being the slow season I had Macho for Capitan and Sergio for deckie solo for part of the trip . we tight now.

Be sure to contact Gkross (he posted up above) as he may be interested if the deal is right and by all accounts is a hell of a fisherman.

Smith "Baby Runboh" for the slow sinking stick bait. Only available here as far as I know:

Angler's Pro Shop

River to Sea "Dumbell" available at a lot of online and regular retailers:

River2Sea topwater cedar plug — Dumbbell Popper
