Fishing out of Los Suenos Marina in Costa Rica

Well, this was my family's first time out in Costa Rica, and my brother and myself really wanted to do some fishing. So we used Costa Rica Dreams Sportfishing and chartered a 26 foot CC called the Snook on 7/23. So me, my brother, and my mom alll arrived at the marina at 700 and left the marina (on the boat) at 715. The ride out started out fine, but got worse quickly. We really did get the s*** kicked out of us. It settled down after an hour but, it was pretty brutal.
So we started trolling and after about 45 minutes my brother had 2 black tuna and i had one. Finally we find a drifting log, about 20 feet long, and troll right along next to it, and my brothers on. He ends up reeling in his first dorado.

We make another pass, and im on my first dorado.

Anyways we trade off, with dorado for about an hour, and my dumba** brother doesn't take any more pics of me with my dorado, but heres the ones he reeled in.

It sort of shut off after that for about fifteen minutes. Then all of a sudden Im on, and reel in my first Yellow Fin Tuna. Soon after my brother reels his first one in too. Right after that, the action really started to heat up. And we were getting Yellowfin Tuna and Jacks left and right. That goes on for a while, and I tried to snap as many pics as possible and here they are.

We caught a lot of fish and had a ton of fun. Ended up making a lot of food with the fish. I really hope to do it again soon.

Looks like fun great job on the fish. The longer dorado looks real skinny.

Looks like a blast! Next time if you want perfect weather and not get beat up, you need to come between December and April and the Pacific looks like a big lake. What a ton of fish, looks like a fun trip!
