Nice one Katmadu! Looks like you've taken care of it. Very clean. Looks like it's your little ones favorite too! Funny how boats are magnets to kids, on second thought, to all of us!

The consoles look identical. Same panel/gauge set up. Looks like everything from the cooler back is the same. They squared up the nose a bit on the 183. I like the fish/storage boxes on yours. You could remove them if you ever had to get into the hull up there. Mine are glassed into the upper mold, sealing off the front half and they have a couple small cracks in them. Another good thing is the removable floor boards under the console and seats. I see yours has them too. Makes getting to the fuel tank/etc. easy. I need to get an anchor mount/roller like yours. That small hatch dosnt allow room to store much more than a treble hook.

See ya, Jay

Thanks Jr. Jay. I try to stay on top of the maintenance including cleaning up after a day of fishing. I wish my boat was a bit bigger so that I can take it out further. I hear the tunas are over at San Clemente Island. Oh well. I will just have to wait for the tunas to get closer or will need to wait till I upgrade to a bigger boat someday. Better yet, maybe I just need to build up the confidence to take her out further with additional gas tank. Anyways, you've got a great looking boat that will serve you well both for inshore or offshore. I think its time to break in your boat and chase some tunas. By the way, where are your batteries located? Are they located below the deck in the bilge area near the transom? I am thinking of relocating mine inside my console.
