Rebuilding the Tank (again)

As many of you know I never finished the inside of my boat so the project has started. Some of you are removing your woodwork but I love wood!! Had to build a place to keep dry so.....

The tear out didn't take long

Now the fun part as it comes along

Still lots of work left just on the woodwork and then comes a bigger diesel, a gen-set and AC. I think she will get some paint on the house to help keep it cooler in the PV sunshine next summer. Will try to keep ya updated as the weeks go by!

The 220 Diamond (Cummins) will be missed!! Had to think long and hard about giving up the MPG's but since it will be used as a day boat I do need speed. I am going with a new 370 cummins and gear. Ole Mr. Athens says 25K cruise and all he said about top end was "fast" Now fast to me is a long way from a lot of you guys but I am thinking 30??? I will be adding around 1,500 pounds but on the other hand day trips shouldn't require as much gear onboard. I am also going to put the trim tabs on her that have sat in my shop for the last 4 years. BTW/ somebody is going to get a sweet deal on a used diesel soon so if anybody knows somebody that is looking send them this way.

Sounds like its going to be nice. You keeping her down south permanently? and if there is anyone that knows anything about diesels and cummins it would be Tony.
