Cool dash board up date

I dont understand why sea ray made this dash like this. but 1 thing is for sure. This will be a nice update and you can see out of the windsheild and maybe have room to put that bitchin stereo. Also we wanted to see the fish finder from the front of the boat .I'm not really sure how I'm gonna set it up yet so if anyone has a 88sea ray or close to that year. send a picture to me . let me see how yours is set up?

Re: dash board up date

Lots of potential.

Get some construction paper & make paper cut outs the same dia. of your guages & instruments. You can put the construction paper down and move the paper cutouts around until you get a configuration you like. You might even want to put a switch panel up there.

An easy clean thing to do would be to buy a 1/4" thick piece of starboard to put on that area. It will cover the existing holes and give you a nice clean surface drill out with hole saws and mount your guages into.

Like I said, you have lots of potential to work with, take your time & she'll look nice.
