Wasn't it a Grady that capsized at the islands a few weeks ago

I said a Bayrunner Baja in rough water will beat you up. I didn't generalize that to any aluminum boat. Never been in a Pacific. Looks nice.

Ahhhhhhhh man......... I would't attack anyone on this board especially a fellow aluminum owner. I like Baja Bayrunners and own a pristine 19' waiting in the wings.
Thanks all for the kind words.

The Pacific and its sealed aluminum self draining deck is the perfect boat for the 425. It will always be smoldering in the back of your mind. An itch that will never go away. Ask the guys to keep an eye out for you. Have patience and be ready for a deal to strike.

Damn boat maintenance this weekend.

Take Care

never tried to put pics in so not sure if it will work. Any way like stated above. There are some great deals out there if you look around. It is definately not the time to buy a boat new but a great time to find the used ones. I got this Billfisher for 40k 1700 hrs on an AD41 completly rigged See 3rd picture for list of extras. That is a sweet set up for an aluminum though.

No I think, There is a blackman named Bad Fish in Vista that I drove by twice a day drooling until I got this one. The old owner was from huntington beach.

Very, very nice boat. Good deal for $40k. I think the original owner of Bad Fish had about $130k into it? Used is definitely the way to go currently.

Sorry Matty for the late response, thankyou for the kind comments. BD is a huge board and sometimes I get lost.

My 2325 Wa Pacificskiff runs a 225 Honda. She cruises around 3900 rpm, 28 miles per hour 3.75 miles per gallon. Fully loaded with 114 gallons of fuel, 2 scoop offshore bait tank filled, enough ice, drinks, food, tackle and safety gear. (Trust me it's a work out loading and unloading her.) My fat butt and my petite wife(safe answer). WOT 5500 41 miles per hour 1.8 miles per gallon. This winter raising the motor 3 pins trying to get into the magical 4 miles to the gallon. Similarly rigged Pacificskiff 23 Super tops are getting 5 miles to the gallon.

Deno my 19 foot Valco Bayrunner is light trailerable and gets phenominal and safe gas milage. I would probably have to pick the days carefully if I wanted to fish the 425 from San Diego in her and I'd still pound alot and get wet. It is all a trade off of super economy and great econmy in comfort. If at all possible get the Pacificskiff you will not have buyers remorse and wishing for more. That is until you want to go up in size.

All boats are great it just a matter of taste and what fits your style.

Take Care
Mark
