12ft aluminum question

Hi all just got a killer deal on a used 12 ft aluminum boat. With a little 7.5 hp outboard.now my question is I was on the lake the other day and I saw another 12ft but he had his all hooked up with a deck and speakers with a flat little storage area in the front well I just wanted to see others boats before I start on mine. Thanks

It's just easier to save the money and upgrade to something with all the bells and whistles already attached. I tried to rebuild an used 12ft. aluminum skiff I got and it is not easy.

building a deck between the middle seat and the front seat is not that hard nor is it very expensive. next time you see one set up this way, ask the owner if you can take a peek and draw some pictures of how he did it.

a quality foot-op electric can be installed at the bow and then removed and re-used if/when you move on to your next boat.

the radio and speakers can set you back a bit so just get a portable am/fm and "be happy".

Sweet little boat. Bay bassin and local lakes look out.

I like the ask other guys advice too. Fishermen don't like to brag or talk so it could be difficult.
