I did the same thing with the enclosure and the wings work great to keep the spray off... Your boat looks better than new, hope the leak is something simple...

Good choice on the EdgeWater, sweet lookin ride. I have the 225 express and they are very solid boats. How well does the Furuno 620 and the Airmar setup work for you. That's something I have been needing to upgrade on my boat for a long time. See you on the water, Scott

The jury is still out on the this Furuno/Airmar combo. I have only fished the boat two times since they were installed and both times we were just messing around in La Jolla. I will say the Furuno 620 is BAD ASS. I had the 600 on my last two boats and I personally think both the screen and functionality of the 620 is way superior to the 600. After I fish a few more times, I'll give you some better feedback on the combo.

Brian

Sweet boat!!, always liked Edgewater myself, heavy, extreemly seaworthy, slice through the afternoon chop effortlesly, but can be wet as hell.. it's good that you did not cheat yourself with enclosure - will help a bunch. probably you have the CC wet ride home experiences with Parker you had.. I remember my CC coming back from 182
driving home in the wet pants.. rain gear after that..
Great, great boat!! They were offering me this 205 for the price of 188.
I hope you had a good deal on it..

Found the leak. The bilge access hatch is not fully sealed so it is letting in a shit load of water. That, and for some reason the dude who owned the boat before me cut the engine cable enclosure so water is getting in the bilge from both places. Seems easy enough to fix. Very happy and we'll make a long run on Sunday to test the the water intake.

Enjoy the 4th everyone!

Brian
