She's a beauty... You'll like having the wings on the enclosure. I designed mine and had it sewn up and it really makes a difference when it's snotty or the waters cold...

It probably would depend allot on your boat and how accessible everything is. I'll post some pics when it's all done.

Not bad at all. Thanks Brian!!

Nice rig! I have the 225 model. Who is making your enclosure? I want to have one made as well. I would like to see your design..specially the wings. Good move moving to the 40 gallon PE bait tank. Did you get the flat side model to fit up to the lean post? The transom tank is OK but is a half scooper at best. I just put a 45 Off Shore tank under my leaning post and am very happy with it.

Hey Matt - Pacific Canvas in Oceanside is making the enclosure. They are going to use this design:

www.ClassicParker.com :: View topic - 2006 Parker 1801 Sale/Trade.....SOLD

I decided to go with the PE38...the new tear drop shaped bait tank. I will fit real nice at the back of the lean post and still give me some storage space underneath the seat.

Brian ,

Thanks... that should work good. I got a quote from one shop at $1150.00. That sounded a bit high for the enclosure. I will call Pacific canvas and see what they quote.

I tell you that the Edgewater is one stout boat. My 225 feels like a 24 foot boat compared to other centers on the market. My buddy has the 21 mako and my Edgy dwarfs the thing.

My buddies got one similar and he loves it. Great rideing boats with lots of fishability. If you dont mind me asking what was the reason behind going with a tilted elemend as opposed to a standard bronze through hull ducer?

Thanks and see ya on the water.

So after talking with honor marine, Airmar, Furuno and researching as much as I could on the internet I went with the tilted element. To be honest, that's the one addition that I am not 100% sure about. I had the bronze thru hull with high speed fairing block on my Parker and it worked flawlessly. I do like the fact that the b60 is basically flush mount and the 20 degrees tilt is very cool. My concern is how good the picture will be at higher speeds. Furuno and Airmar said it would be better then the bronze thru hull. We'll see. I'll let you know how it goes.

Ok so here is the finished product. Many props to Pacific Canvas in Oceanside for the install of the canvas wrap around and wings. Outstanding work for very limited money. Also, the boys at Sundance for the bait tank install and the trim tab install. Solid work for sure. Dave, Joe, and Bob are great to deal with. Honor Marine did the electronics install and once again they met my expectations. They did really nice work in a timely fashion for a reasonable price. Actually all of the installs were done for less then the quoted price. Really happy with the outcome.

The only issue I have is my secondary bait tank is still not working and that is after a new pump and hoses were installed. Need to figure it out ASAP. Also, did some fishing off La Jolla yesterday afternoon....6 barracuda, some bottom fish, and a calico. A HUGE spot of Yellowtail popped up right next to the boat for 30 seconds then were gone. When we got back to the ramp, there was quite a bit of water in my bilge. Need to figure out ASAP where it's coming from. That is really the only bummer of the trip.

Some Pics....
