Anyway, if you could be more specific, I can give you a more specific answer... no problem...
Josh | I kinda asked the question that shouldn't be asked a boat owner......
It looks good and you must enjoy it. looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Leoman,
I just want you guys to know what you're all capable of if you put your mind to it... When I started back in 2001 I had absolutely no knowledge of fiberglassing.

Joe,
We're all on the same boat.... certainly owning a boat changes your perspective of money, it's not how much you've spent but how much more you need to get it right. Right ???

Joe,
You've made me think about how much in fiberglass materials I've spent... and I've come out with an estimate... $4500 to $5000.... that answers your question? For the whole project that is... and you've seen about 75% so far.

Josh | Yeah, I have done a little, but not to the extent of making molds, cutting, chopping, grinding and refurbing like you've done; the fluidity of your postings, compressing time with a big dose of progress and ingenuity in an average joe (or jose ) work environment we can all identify with makes it a great read; I've got a project boat and you have given me ideas and motivation, thanks.

Good to hear that Leoman, if you want something you've never had you have to be willing to do something you've never done.
I still have a few tricks up my sleeve that you will see in the following posts. As I said in the beginning, I have thousands of pictures, and I'm trying to pick the most relevant to show and explain the progress, if any of you want me to go in more detail on something (as I said a couple of times already), just ask, I'll gladly make it happen.

Josh, when you glassed the house, did you wet out the wood first so it wouldn't soak up what you rolled on the 1708, or was that not a problem? Also, what kinda rollers did you use? Looking at the prices of resins, I "unfortunately" have to go with epoxy and paint it (vice ISO and gelcoat) because I've used nothing but epoxy. It's a lot nicer to work with because there's hard no fumes at all, but if I am stupid enough to do this kinda project again, I'll probably go ISO. I'm gonna try to run down to SD today to get some resin and microballoons- you help to keep me going!!
