I did a project boat 20' it eat my $$$ and my friends time.(Thanks friends)about a year.It keeped me sane that year and I enjoyed all my time.Have a blast and enjoy and know you could buy it much cheaper already fixed,I sold mine for a dime on the dollar but thats life.Feel free to contact for any ? IMHO, you're in for a lot of work and some $$$. See?

Why does it have to be a V-8? There's a Volvo 4.3L (GM) for a grand in the Phoenix CL. It looks like a 24 or less right? And maybe kinda light?

4.3L would do and might save a gallon or three.
