WOW, I just had another look and it still looks like a volvo outdrive to me but what do I know ????( aside from the fact that my current boat has one )(and the transom looks the same with the outdrive off )

im restoring a boat right now and yes it is alot of work and can be expensive but when you're done you will know that boat inside and out. good luck and have fun with it. saw that on craiglist and saw the potential just like you
