| SANTA ROSA WSB LIMITS AN BIG BUTS
I went to santa rosa last week on my buddie's 47 cabo for 3 days for 6 wsb and 1 25lbs halibut. I got a chance to meet a salty bro named Marty. He worked on the freelance, bongos and carnage for years this guy is one cool salty fucker. I liked the island so much I went back this past weekend on my own boat with my buddy Mike and Kevin. We went for 2 1/2 days. It was easy limits on the wsb for each day i got on the radio yeld out for any bd,rs not a boat insight. I had to tear myself away from the bite we left them biting. it was reel funny as we were on the bite a party boat or two each day would show up to fish for 30 minutes or so and then leave i dont think they ever looked over at us we were on a wfo bite. We tried other spots for halibut and managed to pick up 12 up to 44 lbs. Total fish counts for the 3 days -easy limits on wsb, to 25 lbs 12 halibut and all the shallow water reds, lingcod and calicos you could shake a stick at. Having trouble posting pics on my dial up. I met marty on my buddies boat we spent 3 days on the water we really hit it off were alot a like im going to take him and his wife out on my boat soon. im sure he will teach me alot this year he has more time on the water than any body i know. he was telling me he was fishing wsb and yellowtial comercially he had some great storles
