Killer Bassing 10/17

Hey Gang!
Had a really fun trip Saturday, did a just for fun trip out of Channel Islands harbor with my buddy Scott, making our way south we fished from the Deep Hole to BS rock (just North of the top end of Zuma)
The bass bit a little on the Hole proper in the grey, but soon as the sun came up that dried up we went to work hitting a bunch of spots from 10ft to 50ft of water, just shy of BS rock we got into a killer bite drifting the hardbottom just outside the kelp in anywhere from 32-48ft drift depending.
At 2:30 we called it quits after catching 54 mixed bass most in the 2-3lb range with a few a little bigger and a few a little smaller and a bunch of other stuff including a 12-15 black and bonito to 7lbs (10lb braid/light spinning rod) they bit most colors of BigHammers but the star of the show was Blueshad by far! 3/4/5/5.5/ and even the 6.5in. Awesome day on the water with temps from 64.5-68, great water color and awesome current all day!..Captain Larry
P.S. if any bodies interest I will be running winterbass specials starting November 1rst
