I can't do 10/11 but I'm seriously thinking about making the run from Ventura late next week. The line from Osborn to Cortez could be worth burning a tank of fuel. Nice blue water and several good temp breaks. Not much fish dope out there though.

Hey Dennis,
It's been quite a few years since we had good fishing for tuna at the 311 or the escarpment. I'm sure you remember.
There's been a few exploratory trips out there this year with big goose eggs.
The temps look good, clorrophyll not so good. Maybe after this storm blows through.
Can't make it this weekend, we're leaving for PV Sunday AM, but if you make a trip in the near future I'm game.
Good luck if you go.
Gary

I just came up the line from San Diego where I was fishing for 6 weeks. Now that I am back to CIH, I wouldn't mind joining in on a local Tuna exploratory. Water outside Catalina looked nice.

Had a bud run up the line burned alot of fuel and put a 900.00 dollar albie on the boat for the effort. He fish about 45 mile off Miguel and up as far as the dognut I would head south.
