Smile No albies but some butts

The last two weeks were extremely tough. I sat in a class room stairing at a flat ocean with out being able to go fish in it. I did however complete my 100 gross tons captains course and test . On Sat. I was ready to go fishing. Myself and several other vessels made the run out to the 311 to look for the albies. The water was just a little green and very cold 57-59. We did however see lots of marks at 50 ft. and lots of bait under the patties. All the boats came up empty. We decieded to shoot back over to Rosa and pound some sand. This paid off pretty well. Ending up with 5 nice hali's ranging from 9-18 lbs. We also had couple that came unpinned. Left the island around 5:30 in windy and foggy conditions. Still it felt great to be on the water. No albies but some butts-hali-one-one-albi-day-001.jpgNo albies but some butts-hali-one-one-albi-day-005.jpgNo albies but some butts-hali-one-one-albi-day-007.jpg
