Any one know what boat in the Oxnard, ventura area that would be good to book for my wifes 1st overnite / rock fish trip?

if her legs are going to be tied to a couple of concrete filled cans any will do. if you want to go fishing out there and for some strange reason bring her back then yea the Mirage is ok or the Pac Dawn if its still out that way.

"Ranger 85" out of CISCOs. Frank runs mostly 2 day trips on weekends. You get more bang for the buck on 2dayers & generally better food when provided. Seaya!

patrick, i love the johnny wadd reference in the "i want to take my wife fishing" thread hahahaa sorry i couldn't resist laughing when i read that one. i think i wanna go peep the mirage or as harryo said, the ranger 85... gotta get of oxnard sometime for sure. thanks for the info guys, and randy - thanks for asking a question i'd been pondering for some time as well (minus the wife part)

Both Pac Dawn and Seabiscuit have big comfortable double bunks.I'm sure if you talk to Pat(Dawn) or Bobby(Biscuit) you can pretty much reserve one.Even though the Mirage is my favorite local boat the only one my wife will fish on is the Dawn.Pat runs a clean ship.
