Channel Islands

Just a quick report, we took off for Anacapa on Sat. The crossing was a little windy but it laid down and was glass out there. It was a beautiful day on the water, however the water temp was a cold 55. The wierd thing was in one spot the temp gage went nuts, it shot up to 60 and the line was wavy. We drifted with the fleet for a few rock cods. We tried everything, plastic, iron, lucana ( sp?) and dines. Nobody was catching anything, but like I said it was beautiful out there. I kept one red to bring to a party. Sorry no pics.
