Old bars and big bluefins

Here's a 150 pounder, one of four nice bluefin PK Howlett took last summer off of Massachusettes on a 12 year old SuperBar. He wrote "Caught solo one day last July. It was caught on one of the last one of the last remaining SuperBars that I have from you, probably more than twelve years old. Man, talk about getting my money's worth! Send a catalog. I want to try those Generation Two's you say are even better."

I got to thinking. PK said is hardcore and said he's caught huge numbers of tunas on the old bars...I have to wonder, how much would it have cost him if he had bought live bait for every one of the many trips where the bars loaded him up? Mercy!

Got your bars and Spiders yet?
