| ALBACORE QUIZ?
Hopefully, this isn't too tough. After all, it is simple, clear logic.
There are four little lures on four rods in the first spread.
There are sixty-four of the same size and color lures on the same four rods in that second spread.
Decide for yourself which is the most likely to raise and catch tuna and albies that are feeding on little baits, like they so often are - as in a lot bigger catches!
It's a long, expensive, time-consuming ride out there to only present a couple of tiny baits that aren't even enough for one fish, let alone to whole schools of them.
You can't out-chum a sportboat with live stuff, but you can "chum" as many troll baits as sixteen or so of them!
Food for thought.

Due to health issues and accidents I'm permanently in the negative tax bracket but what I've done was purchase one bar at a time, as I come up with the funds. One Meatball in your spread puts you ahead, two bars, a bit further and sometime in future you can have a full spread.

Kasho,
Thank you and sic 'em!
Keta & Michael,
What we are seeing quite a bit of is guys who fish together most of the time pooling their money and buying a set for whatever boat they are fishing on that day. It's like any other lure...if you start from scratch, you build up your selection over time.
Scarleg,
I usually try to avoid getting into pissing contests with skunks, but in this case, based on what you felt you needed to say here, I have to say -absolutely brilliant remark. You just left out one thing...the "duh" at the end |

What is the price of the spreaders you are speaking of? You definitely have caught my attention.

I would also highly recommend reading Fred's books. I haven't read them all, but I'm working.
I have read, and re-read, and read again these three
The Best Marlin Lure...and you arent using it
The Superbar Bible
Secrets of the West Coast
"Secrets" covers a lot of different kinds of west coast fishing. Halibut, sharks, fishing the Islands, a wealth of knowledge.
All are very good reading. I'm working on Fred's novel right now. "Grim Ripper"
