| SPIDERS....WOW!
I THINK THIS EMAIL SAYS IT ALL. SPIDERS HAVE BEEN TEARING UP THE CALIFORNIA AND PACIFIC HALIBUT (YOU DID KNOW THAT THERE ARE TWO SPECIES, DIDN'T YOU?) AND BIG, "DOORMAT" EAST COAST FLUKE AND STRIPERS LIKE NOTHING EVER BEFORE.
OF COURSE, SALMON ARE OFF LIMITS DOWN SOUTH, BUT NOT UP NORTH AND THEY WILL BE ALLOWED BACK IN THE SPORTFISHING CATCH EVENTUALLY, BUT YOU NORTHERLY GUYS AND GREAT LAKES FISHERMEN, CHECK THIS OUT - FROM NONE OTHER CRACKERJACK HIMSELF IN AN EMAIL I RECEIVED YESTERDAY (HOPE YOU DON'T MIND ME LETTING THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG, ANDY!)....
Hi Fred,
We finally got a chance to put the spiders out for kings yesterday. We trolled for three hours without a bite and then I decided to depart from what has worked great for us in the past just try my luck with the spiders.
We put out two mini spiders one dark and one light and then we also put out a larger green model. Within five minutes we hooked up a triple of kings! All on the spiders. We landed two of them. Then put the spread out again and had two knock downs and landed one more.
The biggest news was that I had the Vice President of Mustad – Bob Funk on board as well as two outdoor writers ( one from Salmon, Trout and Steelheader magazine) and a TV crew from Fishful Thinking TV - that filmed the bite in high definition video. I would expect that you will hear from all of them, as they were blown away with the gear. I will give them your contact information and provide you with a copy of the article and video when they come out in the fall.
I would like to get some more spiders from you for my use and for some other charter captains. I would like 9 of the smallest ones with:
3 in green/ dark green
3 in white
3 in purple.
I would like to get 4 more of the 2nd smallest size:
2 ea. in green
2 ea in white.
Just let me know where to send a check and how much and I will send a check to you express mail.

AND THERE IS SOME GOOD NEWS AT LAST ON THE PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY FRONT! A NEW MEMBER JOINS THE TEAM ON MONDAY. FIRST, WE WILL BE SHIPPING BACK ORDERS, WHICH WE HAVE A TON OF (AS MANY OF YOU KNOW) IN THE ONLY FAIR WAY POSSIBLE - IN THE ORDER THAT THEY CAME IN. WE ARE AIMING FOR PRODUCTION TO START THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. THERE WILL BE SOME CATCHING UP TO DO THERE, BUT WE WILL FIRST FOCUS ON THE HOTTEST PRODUCTS, INCLUDING SPIDERS AND LITTLE MEATBALL AND PROBARS AND THE NEW WAHOOBARS.
YOU CANNOT IMAGINE WHAT A JOY IT IS TO REPORT ALL OF THIS!
MEANTIME, THAT OTHER GUY IS STILL HANGING ONTO EVERY DIME MY PRODUCTS EARNED FOR OVER THREE YEARS. A SUPPOSED BEST FRIEND WHO BETRAYS YOUR TRUST AND CHEATS YOU OUT OF EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE WORKED LIKE A DOG FOR IS THE LOWEST FORM OF HUMAN.
BY-THE-WAY, IT IS FINE WITH ME IF REPLIES AREN'T ALLOWED DUE TO THAT LAST PART. I DON'T KNOW THE FINE POINTS OF INTERNET SITES, BUT THE OTHER GUYS DO AND WHATEVER THEY THINK IS RIGHT IS OKAY WITH ME. I DON'T GO AROUND BASHING PEOPLE, PERIOD. WHAT IS WRITTEN THERE ISN'T BASHING; REGRETABLY, IT IS THE TRUTH.
